Delete your account

RPH Chat lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what gets removed.

How to delete your account (in the app)

Sign in at https://www.rphchat.com (or in the mobile app).
Open Settings (your profile menu).
Go to the Account tab.
Scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom.
Click Delete Account, type your username to confirm, then click Delete Account Forever.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. This action cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your identity and personal data:

Your account (username, email, and password)
All of your characters and their profiles, avatars, and banners
Your friends, blocked users, and favorite rooms
Your notification/push settings and saved preferences
Any active subscription is cancelled and your payment profile is removed from our payment processor

What stays (anonymized)

So other users' roleplay history isn't destroyed, the content you posted in shared spaces is kept but anonymized. It no longer identifies you and shows as "[Deleted]":

Messages you sent in rooms, and your direct-message conversations
Rooms you created (they remain available to their members)

Data retention

Deletion is immediate. A limited amount of information may persist briefly in routine backups and security logs, which age out on a rolling basis. We may retain the minimum data required by law or to prevent fraud and abuse, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Can't access your account?

If you can't sign in to delete your account yourself, email us at admin@rphchat.com from the email address associated with your account and we will process the deletion for you.
